Football News

WWE fans, you’re almost there!

Of course, I’m referring to the end of the working week which, at this stage, is around 30 hours away (UK schedule). You can manage it, I’m sure, but if you can’t then allow us to give you some motivation.

Below we’ve compiled all the latest, breaking, news. Take it all in and leave thoughts and opinions in the comments box provided.

Rock talks ongoing

WWE fans the world over can celebrate, as it’s been claimed The Rock is holding serious negotiations concerning working once more with the organisation before the end of the year.

Only last week was his merchandise in the WWE shop moved to the current roster, and that prompted speculation that he was indeed destined for a return to the ring.

Well, updates are there to be found, and they claim that The Rock is one step closer to being reintroduced to the fold. Fans of the sport, be ready.

Mark Henry retirement

Meanwhile, Mark Henry has confirmed his retirement is imminent, saying he is 100% sure his current contract will represent his last deal with the WWE.

Henry has been a fixture with the company for almost 20 years, but he’s ready to bow out given the toll regularly performing is taking on his 44-year-old body. We can’t really say we blame him.

No Saudi tour for Divas

Lastly, the WWE Divas won’t be appearing in the company’s tour of Saudi Arabia because of the country’s strict laws on women.

According to reports, the WWE’s current crop of Divas wouldn’t have been able to perform at all had they travelled to the states, so they’ve been left behind.
