WWE: Kevin Owens vs Ryback added to Hell in a Cell PPV

Football News

Hell in a Cell is set up to be a pretty exciting pay-per-view from the WWE.

The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar will be bringing their excellent feud to an end inside the steel structure, while Seth Rollins will face off against the demon Kane for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

New Title Match

John Cena will probably face either Dolph Ziggler or a member of the New Day for the United States title, leaving just one WWE championship unaccounted for; the Intercontinental Title. Well it was, until now.

Owens vs Ryback

According to a report from Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc, Kevin Owens will indeed be defending his IC Title at Hell in a Cell at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The WWE have also confirmed who his opponent will be, taking to their official Facebook page to announce that Owens will be trying to retain the strap against the man he won it from, Ryback.

Owens won the title from Ryback at Night of Champions last month and has been destroying the mid-card of the company ever since, with Ryback usually watching on from ringside.

Rematch City

Because the WWE still holds true to its "automatic rematch in every contract" gimmick, The Big Guy gets the next shot at the IC belt despite losing it last time out.

Interestingly, the only match currently on the card that isn't a rematch is the Kane vs Rollins bout for the top WWE Title. If the WWE wanted any more reasons why TV ratings are dropping so much, this might be a great argument because nothing new is happening.
