Football News
Bayern Munich have wrapped up their eighth summer transfer with a surprise swoop to bring 37-year-old Thomas Linke back to Bavaria.

The veteran has been signed back from Salzburg, where he has played for the last two seasons since leaving Bayern but he is unlikely to see much first-team action and has instead been signed to pass on his experience to the youngsters in the reserve team.

He has an impressive haul of five Bundesliga crowns, three German cup triumphs and a Champions League and World Club Cup medal to his credit.
