Sevilla were left to wonder what could have been after being held to a goalless draw at Real Mallorca when a victory would have seen them move level on points with Primera Liga leaders Real Madrid and Barcelona.

As it is, Juande Ramos´ side will go into next weekend´s final round of Primera Liga still two points adrift of the leading pair, and only with an outside chance of lifting the Spanish title for this first time since 1946.

"The team is disappointed because we have had the opportunity to reach second or first place, but when a team gives everything you cannot ask anymore," said Ramos, whose side had to play the final 17 minutes at the Ono Estadi with a man less following the dismissal of Ivica Dragutinovic.
