Current NXT Champion Finn Balor has seen his latest nemesis Kevin Owens leave to head to the main roster and already knows his #1 contender.

New NXT arrival Apollo Crews will get his chance at the title but the big names in NXT are still largely absent.

With stars like Hideo Itami and Sami Zayn still missing, the WWE have had to look for new contenders to the title in NXT.

Zayn has been out injured for a long time now and despite being one of NXT's most popular superstars, he is now set to appear away from the WWE.

Zayn is now returning to a promotion he competed in before he made the move to NXT and it has sparked rumours that he could not be coming back to the WWE.

It also didn't help when Zayn sent out a curious tweet recently...

Putting the title of a TNA show in a tweet is always going to spark rumours of a shock move but Zayn would later go on to clarify that it was a reference to a movie recommended to him by the late great Dusty Rhodes.
