It can sometimes be hard to see the lighter side of the NBA pre-season as some fans begin to panic while some start to dream of the championship.

Players sometimes look like they're taking it easy during the pre-season and everyone else just has to assume that they're working really hard in training.

Some taking it more casually than others?

One team whose fans may have some serious reasons for concern this pre-season would include last years Eastern Conference Champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers are currently 0-3 in the pre-season after losses to the Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers and a loss on Monday night to the Memphis Grizzlies.

While the scores on the court may not be good reading for the Cavaliers, some of their players have been making headlines for some sideline shenanigans.

It all started with LeBron James who last week was caught on camera taking a selfie with fans in the stands while waiting to be subbed into the game.

Not one to be outdone however, J.R. Smith decided to up the competition tonight and to do that, he took to the stands.

Going into the stands to buy not one, but two cotton candies and then giving one to a fan and keeping one himself is certainly an interesting gesture.

One question that comes to mind is how did coach David Blatt allow Smith to leave the sideline to purchase cotton candy?

But arguably the real question is, who did it better?

Undoubtedly something that we wont see happen at any time during the regular season, we do have to wonder just how far the two will go in this little competition?

Time to go one better?

Last year the Cavaliers lost in the NBA finals to the Golden State Warriors and they will surely feel that they can go one better this year.

We are surely set for yet another incredible NBA season in 2015 and who knows what madness could be set to unfold in the coming months?
