Buffalo Bills star Tyrod Taylor struggling with injury

Football News

Tyrod Taylor has come a long way in a few, short months.

The mobile quarterback has gone from being Joe Flacco's perennial backup at the Baltimore Ravens and an little-wanted free agent, to the Buffalo Bills starting quarterback. And he's looked good!

However, thanks to Taylor's mobile type of play, he takes a fair few beatings on the gridiron. And the Bills are worried about it.

Taylor Hurting

Buffalo head coach Rex Ryan spoke to reporters yesterday following their tight 14-13 win over the Tennessee Titans, saying that Taylor is incredibly beat up right now thanks to some of the hits he has taken.

“I can tell you this: He is beat up right now,” Ryan said, according to the Buffalo News. “He’s sore. You ought to see him — he is sore. We knew he would be."

Ryan then went on to add that Taylor actually hasn't really been healthy for the entire season, which makes his current play look even more incredible than it already is.

Hurt The Whole Season

"Guys, he hasn’t been 100 percent all season. We all know he finished the game, but we’ll see how he’s doing. We’ll be looking at him throughout the week and everybody else that we have. He’s sore now, I can tell you that much,” Ryan added.

Taylor was listed on the injury report before week four because of an ankle knock that Ryan says dates back to training camp, but he wasn’t on the injury report last week at all.

We'll have to wait and see if Taylor lands back on the injury list this week in the run-up to the Bills facing the unbeaten Cincinnati Bengals in what will be a hard-fought game.
