Juventus left-back Patrice Evra has revealed he was left heartbroken when he left Manchester United, especially because it wasn't his decision to leave the club.
The Frenchman departed Old Trafford in 2014 after spending eight years with the Premier League giants, winning all there is to win in the game, but after his contract expired at the club, he was released on a free transfer.
Transfer from United
Evra agreed a deal in principle with the Serie A side and then joined The Old Lady in the summer of 2014.

After eight successful years in Manchester, the 34-year-old was a fan favourite and was also a well-respected figure in the dressing room, a figure that some say United have failed to replace.
Luke Shaw is the current option at left-back after he arrived from Southampton, but after his nasty leg-break, Louis van Gaal doesn't have a lot of options at his disposal.
Speaking to French radio station RMC, Evra has discussed his transfer away from Manchester United, and he's admitted it was a decision that was made for him by his own family.
Evra Reveals All
“It was a choice made by my family," Evra told RMC.
“It’s hard to talk about it now. It was heartbreaking, but I made the choice for my family. I do not want to talk about the details.
“Manchester didn’t want to me to leave, but before the end of the league season, I explained that I had to leave.
“It was good choice, but I didn’t want it from my heart.”
Life After United
Evra has gone on to make 26 Serie A appearances so far for Juventus and helped them win yet another league title last year.
He also helped them reach the Champions League final last season but sadly they fell short as FC Barcelona defeated them.
