It may not be a coincidence that Chelsea’s abysmal start to the season has coincided with Thibaut Courtois’ knee injury, but fear not Blues fans the end to the issue is in sight. The big Belgian has confirmed that his rehabilitation is going well and he could be back in action by December. Courtois is planning on working closely with a physio as of this week, meaning that it won’t be too long before he’s available to play for Jose Mourinho once more. Whether or not Mourinho will still be in charge when he returns is another matter entirely. In terms of this weekend, Mourinho could replace Branislav Ivanovic with Kurt Zouma for Chelsea’s clash against Aston Villa. It appears the Special One is finally listening to the calls to drop Ivanovic, and given the Serbian’s woeful form so far this campaign we can’t really blame him.
