Ibagaza inks new deal

Ariel Ibagaza has signed a two-year contract extension with Real Mallorca.

The 30-year-old Argentinian playmaker´s new deal ties him to the Balearic Island club until June 2009.

"I am happy because I very much like being here and wanted to remain," said Ibagaza, who admits the negotiations regarding the new contract were easy. "The club and I we were on the wavelength, and we did not have many problems. I am very grateful to Mallorca and to the fans for what they have given me, and this is the best way to repay them."
