Ex-NBA star Lamar Odom fighting for his life - currently in critical condition

Published 2 Comments

The sporting world woke up in shock to reports that Lamar Odom, formerly of the Los Angeles Lakers, was found unconscious with a mucus-coloured substance leaking from his nose and mouth. The NBA free agent is currently in a coma, with machines assisting his breathing, and the general consensus is that his condition remains critical. Unable to air-lift him because of his 6ft 10 frame, he was taken via ambulance to a Las Vegas hospital, where he is having serious problems with his heart, lungs and kidney. Hopefully more on that as it comes through. Across to the NFL, and the bad news continues. It’s claimed Daniel Fells of the New York Giants has probably played his last ever professional football game, with his battle with MRSA not going well. Fell has already had five surgeries on his foot and, while reports suggesting he’d lost part of it to amputation are thought to be false, there’s more work yet to be done.
