Football News

Johnny Manziel hasn't exactly had the best of starts to his life as an NFL quarterback.

The former Texas A&M star contrived to lose the starting QB job at the Cleveland Browns to Brian Hoyer thanks to his constant partying and the fact that he didn't bother to learn the team's playbook. Manziel would then finish his rookie season with 10 weeks in rehab, for apparent alcohol and drug problems.

Pulled Over

After all that, 2015 was supposed to be the season where Johnny Football grew up. It hasn't gotten off to a great start however, with Manziel reportedly being pulled over by police following an argument with his girlfriend.

Argument With GF

According to a report from, Manziel was pulled over during an argument with his girlfriend, and he admitted to drinking. Manziel apparently pressed Colleen Crowley's head into the car window and grabbed hold of her arm to stop her leaving the car.

The incident happened on Monday, when a witness called police after Manziel used the shoulder to pass the witness’ car at a high rate of speed. The witness said that Manziel and his girlfriend were arguing. Crowley, according to the witness, was trying to exit the car.

No Charges

Police later stopped Manziel, and he and Crowley admitted to drinking earlier in the day. Police determined that neither of the couple were intoxicated at the time of the incident.

Manziel and Crowley both took to social media yesterday to try and calm down the situation, saying that it was just an ordinary couples argument and the two went home together. Crowley didn't want to press any charges.

The Browns released a statement saying that they were already aware of the situation. It doesn't look like there will be any repercussion's for the quarterback.
