However, something you do not see very often is the former Santos man on the receiving end of a nutmeg. It is even more surprising when the perpetrator is none other than former Liverpool man Javier Mascherano.

The Argentine international is known more for his hard tackling than his finesse with the ball, but that did not stop him showing up his team-mate in training.

Footage posted on YouTube shows the Brazilian superstar being left red-faced by Mascherano after the 31-year-old scooped the ball through his legs during a game of keep-ball.

It should come as no surprise, though, as you have to be of a certain level to play for Barcelona and Mascherano is capable of producing the unexpected once in a blue moon.

Neymar will be high on confidence following his man-of-the-match display at the Camp Nou on Saturday.

Questions have been asked as to whether the Brazilian has the ability to step up the absence of Lionel Messi and he answered his critics with a fine display.

However, he will have to continue his impressive form on Tuesday night when the Blaugrana travel to Belarus to face BATE Borisov.
