Arsene Wenger reveals Arsenal plan to stop Robert Lewandowski

Published 1 Comments

Arsenal fans, you’re probably fretting over how to stop Robert Lewandowski. Well, worry no more as Arsene Wenger has a plan to halt the Polish striker in his tracks tonight. So far this term Lewandowski has scored 16 goals in 11 club appearances and heading into tonight’s Champions League fixture at the Emirates Stadium he looks to be in lethal form. However, Wenger said that a shrewd approach could stop the 27-year-old and that Arsenal keeping possession of the ball would ultimately be the best way to limit his effectiveness. Since Wenger’s men are already teetering on the edge of an early exit from Europe we won’t hold our breathe, but anything could happen yet. Meanwhile, Bayern forward Thomas Muller has claimed Arsenal might even be favourites for tonight’s encounter, hailing them as having quality in their fold. The Germany international is another one to watch tonight. Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny should certainly have their hands full.
