While the chances of Hulk Hogan returning to the WWE may be a long shot, he has revealed his favorite ever opponent over his thirty-year career is a former WWE Superstar. That person being no other than The Rock.

The Hulkster recently spoke with Graham Walker of The Star, according to Wrestling News, where he was asked who was the best wrestler he had faced over his thirty-year wrestling career.

He answered with The Great One, one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

He said: "The best I’ve ever grappled was the Rock. This guy had the talent. He had everything. If things went wrong in the ring, he knew how to fix things on the spot. Not just an instinct. He had a really good feel for this business. So The Rock, without a doubt was easily the best.”

So despite the great rivalries he has had with the likes of Andre the Giant, Ric Flair, Rowdy Roddy Piper, and Macho Man Randy Savage, it is The People's Champion who is the best wrestler the Hulkster has faced.

The Rock and Hogan only faced each other twice in the WWE, at No Way Out in 2003, and the match which everyone remembers, WrestleMania X8 in 2002, which was dubbed an Icon vs Icon match. The Great One won both of these matches.

No doubt it was a great feud between the two icons, as it is always awesome to see two of the best wrestlers ever to grace the WWE go one-on-one inside the squared circle.

Good choice Hogan!
