Sanchez 'exhausted'

Arsenal emerged victorious from their Champions League encounter with Bayern Munich last night, but it might well have come at a price.

Speaking after the match, Arsene Wenger revealed how star man Alexis Sanchez is exhausted and hinted at the fact that he might now rest the Chilean in order to get him back to his best.

"Alexis? You could see he was jaded physically," Wenger said post-Bayern Munich win.

"He still pushes himself too much and finished exhausted. Two games with Chile, plus travelling plus Watford and tonight. It’s too much."

Next up for the Gunners is Everton at home - not really the ideal match to have Sanchez missing - but Wenger is running the risk of the 26-year-old picking up an injury if he continues to play him.

Guardiola on ticket prices

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has promised Arsenal fans they will get good prices for tickets in their next European outing to the Allianz Arena.

Bayern fans staged a protest at how expensive seats were at the Emirates Stadium, but Guardiola promised there would be no repeat in Bavaria.

Bellerin stay

Lastly, Hector Bellerin has insisted - again - that he harbours no regrets over having traded Barcelona for Arsenal, despite the obvious attraction of playing for the Blaugrana.

The Spaniard has come of age at the Emirates Stadium and said before last night’s win over Bayern that a return to La Liga wasn’t for him as he is at ‘home’ with the Gunners.
