WWE round-up: Hideo Itami close to ring return after rehabilitation tweets

WWE fans, hello and welcome.

The week is almost over but the gravy train of breaking news and information never really grinds to a halt.

Today we’ve got plenty of interesting topics to mull over. Read on below for more and watch the video above if you’re just downright lazy.

Itami return

Hideo Itami has made it clear that he is closing in on a ring return, taking to Twitter to retweet injury updates for fans to see.

The WWE NXT star has been sidelined for some time with a shoulder problem but is currently on an eight-day rehabilitation trip in Birmingham, Alabama.

Itami posted a series of pictures to Twitter in a bid to give fans some sort of timeline as to when he will officially return to action.

Needless to say, it looks like the worst days are behind him.

Holly a Hall of Famer?

Meanwhile, Molly Holly has admitted she doesn’t think there’s a spot waiting for her in the Hall of Fame because there are others who are more deserved.

The former WWE Diva is liked by many but feels she is well down the pecking order with regards to getting a spot. She said she would jump at the chance, mind.

Cena's feud with Sheamus

Lastly, John Cena could be in line to be involved in a feud with Sheamus when he returns from his impending sabbatical, according to reports.

It’s assumed Cena will drop the United States championship at Hell in a Cell this Sunday before he steps away from the organisation for a spell.

It’s needless to say that the onus will be on him to help improve ailing TV ratings when he returns - hence the spat with Sheamus being planned.
