Orton injury details revealed

Getting propelled into a turnbuckle, hit with a steel chair or maybe thrown off the roof of a cage. They’re all things fans would expect to potentially cause injuries to pro-wrestlers.

Cena return date set

Meanwhile, he hasn’t even taken his sabbatical from the WWE yet but John Cena’s return match is already being advertised.

The United States champion is being scripted as featuring on December 26 in New York’s Madison Square Garden.

As of yet, though, it remains unclear whether or not he’ll keep his belt for the duration of his absence from the organisation.

Joe turns heel

Rounding us off nicely, NXT offered another example of why it is rapidly garnering a reputation for being the most exciting wrestling show on the planet of late, with Samoa Joe turning heel last night.

The show’s tapings on Thursday produced a truly memorable moment as Samoa Joe turned on Finn Balor shortly after the latter’s title match with Apollo Crews.

The event had ended in a DQ as Baron Corbin came down the ramp to attack both Balor and Crews, but when Samoa Joe came out he proceeded to attack Balor after clearing the ring.
