Bubba Ray says Spike Dudley could make a WWE return

The Dudley Boyz returned to the WWE a couple of months ago, but have yet to really be at their best.

This may be because of the New Day's complete and utter dominance of the WWE tag team division, or it could be because Bubba Ray and D-Von are both in their mid-40's and their gimmick seems to be little more than "Get beat up, grab a table" over and over.

The Dudley's look like they could do with a bit of a boost as they take on New Day, and there is someone they could call upon to provide a third.

In an interview with PodNasty, Bubba Ray Dudley revealed that Spike Dudley could potentially make his return to the WWE.

“If we ever needed Spike, if we ever needed our little brother, if we ever needed the runt of the litter, like I said, he’s no more than a phone call away, and he’d be right there by our side," Bubba said to Alfred Kanuwa.

The leader of the Dudley Boyz went on to add that he believed that WWE fans would love to see a returning Spike, and he's probably right in that assumption.

"...I think the WWE Universe would go absolutely crazy to see Bubba, Devon and Spike standing together in the same ring again.”

For whatever reason, the Dudley Boyz have been a bit boring during their return to the WWE. Maybe re-introducing Spike into the fold is the way to go to make them more interesting.
