Jose Mourinho is under serious pressure at Chelsea following a disastrous start to the 2015-16 campaign and rumours that he has lost the dressing room.
However, it’s understood that five key members of Chelsea’s squad remain behind the under-fire Portuguese coach.
ESPN have been told by sources that John Terry, Cesc Fabregas, Gary Cahill, Cesar Azpilicueta and Diego Costa are part of a “decreasing group” of players who remain confident in Mourinho’s ability to turn things around at Stamford Bridge.

The report adds that Chelsea have begun to discuss the possibility of replacing Mourinho with another manager. However, it would cost the Blues a reported £30 million to sack the former Inter Milan and Real Madrid boss, who signed a new four-year contract with the west London outfit in August.
Mourinho’s representatives would insist on their client’s contract being paid in full, but the astronomical amount of money Chelsea would need to pay may deter the club from wielding the axe for a little longer.
Mourinho could lose his job this weekend
Mourinho has already received one vote of confidence from the club’s owner, Roman Abramovich, this season - at the beginning of this month - and the situation has barely improved since then.
Chelsea find themselves languishing in 15th position in the Premier League table, having secured a pitiful 11 points from their first 10 matches of the season, following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to West Ham at Upton Park.
Up next for Chelsea, after the Capital One Cup match against Stoke City on Tuesday night, is a tough-looking fixture against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.
Lose that and the impatient Abramovich may opt to sack Mourinho - regardless of how much money it costs him and the club.
