Louis van Gaal 'sick' of answering Wayne Rooney questions

Published 2 Comments

You ask Louis van Gaal most things and you’ll probably get an honest, if not strange answer, but don’t quiz him on Wayne Rooney. The Manchester United boss admitted after the goalless draw with Manchester City at the weekend that he was ‘sick’ of taking questions on the worrying form of his captain, despite the fact Rooney once again failed to make much of an impression at Old Trafford. Van Gaal said he wouldn’t be providing any more answers on his striker, but surely even he’s beginning to get concerned. Well, even if he isn’t fans certainly are. The United faithful voiced their concerns on Twitter, with a number of supporters pointing out that Rooney’s stats from this season are less than savoury. It’s not good news regardless of how you look, but there’s hope in the form of young Anthony Martial.
