Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been charged with misconduct for trying to confront referee Jon Moss during the Blues' 2-1 loss to West Ham over the weekend.
West Ham and Chelsea have also been charged with failing to control their players during the game, while Chelsea could also face a £25,000 fine having had five players booked.
Mourinho's side slumped to defeat at Upton Park to leave them in 15th place in the Premier League with 10 games gone, 10 points adrift of league leaders Manchester City.
The Special One is under pressure after overseeing just one win in the club's last six outings, and reports this morning suggest that former Chelsea bosses Carlo Ancelotti or Guus Hiddink could be lined up as potential emergency replacements if results don't change dramatically very soon.
That pressure showed as Mourinho was sent to the stands during the game against the Hammers after he reportedly confronted Jon Moss at half-time in the referee's room. The incident is the latest in a long line of indiscretions for Mourinho, who was handed a £50,000 fine and a suspended one-game stadium ban for comments he made in the aftermath of Chelsea's 3-1 defeat against Southampton earlier this month.
The Daily Mail report that Mourinho could be axed before Chelsea's Premier League showdown against Liverpool, after they've taken on Stoke in the Capital One Cup in midweek.
One Twitter user, @addictedtoCFC, spoke succinctly of the need to support Mourinho in his time of need, pointing to where the club were before his arrival - and the club's fans responded to his message:
Chelsea fans, as well as plenty of supporters from rivals Arsenal, took to Twitter after the FA made their announcement - check out the best of the reaction below:
