Guus Hiddink would jump at the chance to complete a return to Chelsea if Jose Mourinho leaves Stamford Bridge behind, according to the Telegraph.

The report claims, citing Dutch sources, that Hiddink would be interested in taking on another interim position at Stamford Bridge.

Hiddink is currently out of work following his failure with the Dutch national side, but it appears that he could yet return to west London in the near future.

Current Chelsea boss Mourinho is under growing pressure at the club after a torrid opening to the season. The Blues currently sit in 15th position in the Premier League after suffering five defeats from their opening 10 fixtures.

Unsurprisingly, Mourinho's job appears to be at risk and it appears that owner Roman Abramovich could attempt to come up with a short-term solution.

The same report claims that Carlo Ancelotti, who also had a stint in charge of the club, is on Abramovich's radar, but it appears that the ex-Real Madrid coach would be against a return to the Premier League champions.

The pressure really is on for Mourinho. It's not entirely surprising that the likes of Hiddink and Ancelotti are being lined up to replace him. It has been a disaster for all involved with the club so far this term.

A victory against rivals Liverpool on Saturday is a necessity in the club's pursuit of redemption. Mourinho's side will still believe that they can secure a place in the top four, but they can't afford to fall any further behind their rivals.
