For most wrestlers embarking on a two-month hiatus, the first day off would probably be focused on rest and relaxation rather than the day job.

John Cena, though, isn't like most wrestlers. The veteran Superstar is supposedly at the start of a two-month break following his defeat at Hell in a Cell, but you'd be hard pressed to tell.

Daily grind

Posting a video online less than 24 hours after losing to Alberto Del Rio, Cena showed his fans that he is already back in the gym working towards rectifying the situation.

Cena's future opponent might be hoping that the star will return from his time off a little rusty and vulnerable to further defeats. The Boston native's work ethic, though, means that is virtually inconceivable.

Even with filming commitments set to dominate his November and December schedule, it looks like Cena will be fighting fit and as strong as ever when he makes his return for the WWE's Christmas holiday run.

Important period

There were rumors that the WWE hierarchy had been upset at John Cena's decision to take time off at a crucial time for the company, and such speculation was enhanced with his relatively quick defeat to Del Rio over the weekend.

However, new reports suggest there is no such heat against Cena from the WWE top brass. And, if the Superstar continues to make public his workout sessions over the next few weeks, they can't exactly complain that the face of the company is busy putting his feet up.
