Ramires has denied that Jose Mourinho has lost the Chelsea dressing room, telling reporters in Brazil that he and his teammates are working hard to carry out their manager’s instructions on the pitch.
The indefatigable midfielder believes the player’s recent performances provide enough evidence to prove they are still giving 100 per cent for their under-fire boss - even if results suggest otherwise.
Chelsea have already lost five matches in the Premier League alone this season - they only lost three league games during the whole of their title-winning 2014-15 campaign - and rumours are rife that Mourinho could be sacked if the Blues suffer defeat to Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

“There is no mutiny against Mourinho,” a defiant Ramires told ESPN Brazil, according to the Independent. “If you take our last games you will see how everyone is running relentlessly, putting their lives on the line on the pitch, as we say.
“Whenever we're under bad form, it's only natural that negative speculations will arise, but the whole group isn't paying attention to the outside and we're focused on doing what Mourinho asks us to do and, consequently, help Chelsea to get back on the winning tracks.”
Jose Mourinho isn't coping well right now
Barring a miracle, the best Chelsea can realistically hope for this season is a top-four finish. After 10 matches played, the west London outfit find themselves 15th in the Premier League table, 11 points behind joint-leaders Manchester City and Arsenal.
Mourinho is not coping well with the situation - as was evident against West Ham at the weekend - and could be relieved of his duties by Roman Abramovich unless the situation improves over the forthcoming weeks.
Chelsea players must help Mourinho
The Portuguese coach is unquestionably one of the best managers in the game, however, and sacking him could ultimately backfire on Chelsea.
The players are letting him down - here are six specific players who aren’t pulling their weight right now - and unless they all pull together, starting tonight against Stoke City in the Capital One Cup, they will lose the services of one of the world’s best coaches.
