If it wasn't for the New Day, the WWE tag team division would undoubtedly be one of the worst in the entire history of the company.

The return of The Dudley Boyz was exciting for all of one week before their shtick - which hasn't changed at all since the Attitude Era - got boring. The Prime Time Players had potential but didn't really connect with the crowds and the less said about Los Matadores the better.

The New Day have seemingly run out of opponent after defeating the Dudleyz at Hell in a Cell on Sunday, and desperately need a new feud. Luckily for them, there is a top tag team returning from injury.

According to a report from Steve Carrier of NoDQ, The Usos are set to make a return to action after spending several months on the sidelines.

"The Usos have been working at the WWE Performance Center for the past week and expected to return to WWE television very soon," the report stated.

Jimmy and Jey are one of the best face tag teams the WWE has had in recent years, and the fact that they have been handed the belts on two separate occasions - both of which were held for long periods of time.

The duo also sell a lot of merchandise and are very valuable to the WWE, so they'll be happy to have them back and get the twins in the running for the tag titles as soon as possible.
