Five members of Manchester United's 'Class of 92' have taken on the role of football club owners since hanging up their boots.

Gary and Phil Neville, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Ryan Giggs all hold a share in non-league club Salford City, who recently reached the first round of the FA Cup for the first time in their history.

The first episode of the BBC's documentary series on the former Old Trafford icons is set to be aired on Thursday evening and a video teaser has been released showing the ex-Red Devils training with the Salford players.

The video shows the United legends giving the part-time players the run around with some neat passing. However, Gary Neville's passing leaves a lot to desired as he wayward pass hits a car.

It's clear to see the ex-United stars have not lost their competitive streak as they go all out for the win against the Salford boys. Neville even stops the game to watch video footage of a contentious penalty in the dying moments. (see the video below)

Salford City currently ply their trade in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, the seventh tier of English football and have been awarded for their FA Cup qualifying round triumph with a home game against League Two Notts County.

The Ammies are just two games away from a potential tie with Manchester United.

The Red Devils are in action on Wednesday night as they face Middlesborough in the Capital One Cup.

With a tough trip to Crystal Palace on the horizon, it will be a good chance for Louis van Gaal to give some of his squad and youth players a run-out.
