I got nine out 14 results correct once again with my Week Seven predictions.
If it wasn't for some shocking performances from teams that should have won I could have had a clean sweep so that's my goal for week eight despite some games likely to be extremely close.
Please comment with your own predictions as well as letting me know what you think of mine.
Miami Dolphins @ New England Patriots
The Dolphins are hot off the back of two wins in a row but trying to beat the Patriots on their own patch is not happening I'm afraid Dolphins fans.
Despite the injuries the Patriots have they will have too much for the Dolphins side.
Detroit Lions @ Kansas City Chiefs
Rather different outcomes for these two in week Seven, the Lions had all the tools to win but fell short whereas the Chiefs, I felt, would be out-gunned by the Steelers but they played well and grabbed the win.
They now both travel across the pond to play at Wembley, I expect the Chiefs to take confidence from their win over the Steelers and push on by beating the Lions in front of a capacity crowd in London.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Atlanta Falcons
The Buccaneers played some fantastic football in week seven but they just couldn't get over the line, the Falcons got a narrow victory on the road so I fully expect them to put Tamp Bay to the sword when they welcome them in week Eight.
Arizona Cardinals @ Cleveland Browns
The Cardinals have been red hot this season, only losing to the Rams and the Steelers. The Browns, meanwhile, have been a little less impressive, stuttering to a 2-5 record. I expect that to sadly change to 2-6.
New York Giants @ New Orleans Saints
Both these teams had good wins in week Seven which makes it even harder to choose between them, but I just have to go with my gut and my gut says a Saints win. I may live to regret this call.
Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears
Great win for the Vikings in week Seven, I picked them to lose last time out so this time I wont make the same mistake.
The Vikings will leave Chicago with a win. Sorry Bears fans you're going to be 2-5.
San Francisco 49ers @ St. Louis Rams
The Rams were unstoppable in week Seven, where as the struggling 49ers couldn't get going. Rams win and more misery for you 49ers fans I'm afraid.
San Diego Chargers @ Baltimore Ravens
A loss for both these sides in week Seven has all but ended their hopes of a Super Bowl appearance unless something seriously impressive happens for one of these sides.
I expect the Chargers to bounce back the best which will result in them leaving Baltimore with a win, unfortunately for the Ravens they will be looking at a 1-7 start to their season.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers
The Bengals couldn't stop winning before their bye in week Seven so I fully expect them to continue where they left off when they visit the Steelers.
The Steelers have been up and down this season but week Eight I expect to be another down taking them 4-4.
Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans
The Titans were unlucky against the Falcons last time out but if they play with the same commitment against the Texans the Titans will leave victorious.
New York Jets @ Oakland Raiders
The Jets came close against the Patriots and I fully expect them to go one better when they visit Oakland in week Eight. The Raiders had a great win but I fear their defense will be no match for the Jets.
Seattle Seahawks @ Dallas Cowboys
The Seahawks have begun to find form once again whilst the Cowboys fall further and further away, Seahawks should make it back to back wins.
Green Bay Packers @ Denver Broncos
One of these teams will lose their perfect start to the season in week Eight. Both side had a bye in week Seven so should be fully rested.
I have had to think about this match the most of them all and still I struggled to pick a winner but taking everything into account I have gone for a Packers win, I feel their offence may have just enough to unlock the Broncos defense.
Indianapolis Colts @ Carolina Panthers
The Colts have been inconsistent this season and they are not playing as well as the undefeated Panthers.
I fully expect the Panthers to welcome the Colts with open arms before sending them home pointless whilst they march on to a 7-0 start.
This is how I think Game week Eight in the NFL will play out, I am likely to be wrong on a few of these but I'm aiming to get more than 10 results correct this week.
Enjoy Game week Eight and check back here for my predictions in Game week Nine.
