Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that he dreams of playing in Spain.

The talented forward, who has enjoyed a remarkable start to the season in the Bundesliga at Borussia Dortmund, has been linked with a move to Liverpool recently, but it appears that he's not all that interested in a move to the Premier League.

The Gabon international has also been linked with a move to the north London duo of Arsenal and Tottenham, but it appears that England's elite clubs will have to work hard to convince the striker to move to the Premier League.

Aubameyang previously starred under the guidance of new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp in Germany, so the Reds faithful will no doubt be hoping that their stylish coach swoops for his former striker.

However, it appears that Aubameyang is more interested in a move to La Liga. Speaking to BBC World Service, as per the Evening Standard, the forward stated: "Maybe one day I'll leave to play in another league because my dream is to play in Spain.

"The Premier League? Lots of people think that it would good for me but my Mum is Spanish and I really have that dream to play over there."

Klopp in need

Let's be honest, it's not going to be easy for the Liverpool hierarchy to secure the signature of Aubameyang, but they will be well aware that they must improve in the attacking department sooner rather than later.

With the duo of Daniel Sturridge and Christian Benteke failing to maintain their fitness on a consistent basis, the Reds are in need of added firepower.

Liverpool fans will certainly be hoping that their forwards produce the goods this weekend as they travel to Stamford Bridge to take on rivals Chelsea.
