It seems like former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton is more of a part-time figure in WWE these days.
We saw Orton written off of TV ahead of Survivor Series last year and he has already had one spell of time out in 2015.
Orton is now set for even more time away following an injury he suffered out of the ring recently and the company have now made strides to replace him.

It was reported last week that Orton suffered a shoulder injury while taking out the garbage and that now appears to be more serious than first thought.
On TV, it has been explained away that Orton was attacked behind the scenes by the Wyatt family but those who follow the headlines knew different.
It has now been confirmed that Orton is injured as he has been pulled from all upcoming live events and will not travel to the UK for the upcoming tour.
There was no delay however for the WWE to pick someone to replace Orton with for the upcoming live events.
The return of Alberto Del Rio has been timely as the new United States Champion takes Orton's place and will compete against Roman Reigns in upcoming house shows.
It is an annual tradition that the company comes to the UK prior to the annual Survivor Series but this year they will be without Orton.
There is currently no speculated date for Orton's return but with him not currently involved in a storyline, the WWE has a rare opportunity.
We all know that the WWE love controversial returns and with Orton currently unattached to a foe, they have the chance to choose his return time wisely.
Orton has been operating as a face superstar for the large part of the last 12 months but is more known for his roles as a heel.
Will the WWE consider moving the Viper back to a heel superstar upon his return or will they have other plans in place?
