Speaking to Uefa's official website, the Atletico Madrid forward, who scored 85 goals during his time with the Reds and the Blues, picked five former club or international teammates in his side.

In goal, the Spaniard chose Chelsea legend and current Arsenal number one, Petr Cech. He also chose former Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard; describing him as 'the best teammate' he ever played with.
The other three members of his team were men who played vital roles in Spain's unrivalled international success from 2008 to 2012: Sergio Ramos, Andres Iniesta and David Villa - although, Villa did not play a part in the Euro 2012 triumph.
Torres explained his selection, saying: "Petr Cech showed me how a goalkeeper can win a Champions League final [in 2012]
"At the back, Sergio Ramos because of his character and friendship. Then, of course, Gerrard – the best team-mate I played with – and Iniesta, the most talented player Spain have produced.
"Up front, Villa – a fantastic player who is always there when you need him."
Torres is currently in the second year of his two-season loan deal from AC Milan to Atletico.
He has had to make do with a bit-part role at his boyhood club, often coming off the bench. However, he appears to be enjoying his football once again.
The devastating eye for goal he showed at Anfield may never return, but there is no doubting the 31-year-old is still a quality player.
