The build up to the annual Survivor Series pay-per-view has started and the event will celebrate The Undertaker’s 25-year tenure with the WWE, so it’s clear The Deadman will play a part on the show.
With no John Cena or Randy Orton available the WWE will be forced to go all-out and one of the ways to do that is have The Undertaker compete at the same event he made his on-screen debut years ago.
We saw The Wyatt Family target both him and Kane, whilst Roman Reigns earned the right to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

So with all of this in mind, here’s what could potentially take place at Survivor Series.
TEAM NEW DAY VS. TEAM DUDLEYZ
I doubt the WWE will stick to one traditional Survivor Series match and this means the New Day could take on The Dudley Boyz again, minus the championship titles.
It wouldn’t be too difficult to book this match as the New Day would do most of the build-up anyway with their hilarious antics, and adding two more members to their team – such as King Barrett and Sheamus – would be a good start.
The same can apply to The Dudley Boyz, a number of superstars would line up to team with them and even more would want to mix it up with the New Day. Two names that pop to mind are The Usos but whether Jey Uso is healthy by then remains to be seen.
ALBERTO DEL RIO © VS. NEVILLE – UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
Del Rio’s alliance with Zeb Colter is an interesting one considering they were at each other’s throats when they were last working together. However, it would be a perfect time for the Englishman to take advantage of booking and compete for the championship.
Del Rio and Neville put on a fantastic match not too long ago and although the promos towards a match like wouldn’t be amazing, it’s still something fans would be entertained watching at Survivor Series.
This would also help Neville a lot as it would be his first real chance at a title on the main roster and it would continue to help Del Rio go over as a heel considering Neville is over with the fans.
DOLPH ZIGGLER VS. TYLER BREEZE
It’s safe to assume that this match is also close to being a lock even though it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Breeze made his highly-anticipated main roster debut last week and instantly targeted Ziggler and this would be a fantastic opening feud for Prince Pretty. For a while now NXT fans have highlighted how feuds with Ziggler and even The Miz would help bring out the best in him and we may see that at Survivor Series.
There’s no doubt that the match will be great and Summer Rae will play a key part in this match also, let’s just hope it isn’t pushed to the pre-show.
CHARLOTTE © VS. PAIGE AND/OR NIKKI BELLA – DIVA’S CHAMPIONSHIP
Fans assumed that we’d see a triple threat match between the three at Survivor Series, but instead we saw a surprisingly good match between Charlotte and Nikki.
I don’t think the WWE will book another Charlotte and Nikki match which means Paige could get a one on one opportunity against Charlotte, considering she attacked her this past week on Monday Night Raw.
I do think Nikki could be added to this match as she has looked better in the ring and her aggression is something that could be important to this match. Whether it’s a triple threat or a singles match, it will be down to the Diva’s to put on an excellent showing.
KEVIN OWENS © VS. DEAN AMBROSE – INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
I expect Ambrose and Owens to go at it for the championship if Ambrose stays as a face, as rumours suggest he could turn heel very soon.
Ambrose is too popular to be left off the card and it would mark two events in a row where he hasn’t competed, so I think he’ll definitely be in a match and a championship bout against Owens is a win for everybody including the fans.
The fans love Ambrose and they love to hate Owens so there’s already that emotional attachment there which always makes for a good match. The support would be fantastic and the match would be even better as their styles could complement each other very well.
SETH ROLLINS © VS. ROMAN REIGNS – WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
This is another match which is pretty much a lock, it’s just a matter of the WWE officially confirming it for Survivor Series.
Reigns earned the right to challenge Rollins this past week on Monday Night Raw after victory in a Fatal 4 Way match and Rollins looked up for the challenge and that’s the key aspect in the feud.
For too long Rollins has been afraid of his challengers and managed to sneak a win, this time he needs to be a dominating champion who knows and acts like he can defeat Reigns any day of the week.
TEAM WYATT VS. TEAM UNDERTAKER
Considering the event is being built around The Undertaker and he’s been targeted, it’s clear they will all be involved in one way or another.
It would be a perfect time for them to form two teams to take part in a four on four Survivor Series match as it would allow The Undertaker to compete in a lighter role with three other partners who could control most of the match.
A lot of names are being thrown around already from Sting to Kane and even Finn Balor, but this would be the perfect chance for Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman to dominate if the plan is to have a big WrestleMania for Strowman.
Wyatt has also failed to back up his words in recent feuds and this would be a huge statement of intent.
