Football News

Arsenal fans, happy Monday.

With the weekend’s action starting to roll down your digestive track now is the perfect time to take a look at the biggest stories doing the rounds in the world of football.

Read on below to see our neatly compiled round-up - tailored, of course, to your club - or watch the video above.

Szczesny comments

It’s unlikely any goalkeeper is going to get a look in at Arsenal any time soon due to the incredible form of Petr Cech, but that doesn’t mean that Wojciech Szczesny isn’t going to give it a crack anyway.

The Polish stopper has spent the last three months on loan with AS Roma, but it doesn’t look like he wants to move to Italy permanently.

Szczesny said that the Gunners were like to a family to him and that he would say yes if Arsene Wenger recalls him.

Chances are Wenger is more than happy with Cech, but we’ll keep you updated anyhow.

Vidal promise

Elsewhere Arturo Vidal has promised Arsenal that they will see the real Bayern Munich when they travel to Germany for the return fixture of their Champions League meeting this week.

Arsenal beat the Bundesliga champions when the two played at the Emirates Stadium, but they’ll still have to get a positive result at the Allianz Arena if they want to maintain hopes of qualifying.

Frimpong troll

Lastly, Gunners flop Emmanuel Frimpong has reminded fans just why they love his Twitter antics so much, trolling Chelsea following their loss to Liverpool at the weekend.

Frimpong, who never really made the grade in north London, tweeted that he was having trials for Chelsea - it’s safe to assume that’s not happening.
