Houston Rockets searching for answers following third 20 point loss of the season

Published 2 Comments

The Houston Rockets couldn’t have started their campaign worse if they tried. Having been riddled with problems during the pre-season training camp, it appears they aren’t going to have much more luck now that the season has started proper. At the weekend they lost their third game of the term to the Miami Heat and, once again, it was by 20 points. The defeat to the Heat followed losses to reigning champions the Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets. It’s safe to assume people are close to hitting the panic button in Houston. Meanwhile in the NFL, week 8 of the season saw a host of big names fall victim to injury, with a number of franchises now potentially having selection headaches. Le’Veon Bell of the Steelers, Steve Smith Sr of the Ravens, Cameron Wake of the Dolphins and Reggie Bush of the San Francisco 49ers are just a handful of players set to be out of contention for the foreseeable. Here’s to hoping game week 9 doesn’t produce a similar hit-list.
