WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross believes United States Champion Alberto Del Rio will turn babyface soon.
The Mexican wrestler recently returned to the WWE as the surprise challenger for John Cena's United States open challenge at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view last month alongside his new manager Zeb Colter.
Speaking on his own blog, the former WWE commentator has said Del Rio could surprise a few once again and turn from heel to babyface, but it is what the WWE has desperately needed for some time.

He said: "I see ADR turning on the villain Zeb Colter some time soon and becoming the Hispanic fan favorite that WWE desperately needs. It's unfortunate that Alberto wasn't able to keep his commitments to Mexico's AAA after rejoining WWE. That's never a good situation. No one wins in this particular situation."
Alberto has been a natural heel during the majority of his time in the WWE, most notably when Ricardo Rodriguez was his manager, he would come down to the ring in a fancy car as an arrogant Mexican aristocrat.
It would be strange to see him as a babyface, but it could definitely work. Transitioning him into a face should be easy, as he would naturally appeal to the Latino part of the WWE Universe. It will be interesting to see if the WWE decides to bring back Rodriguez as Alberto's manager to help with the process.
His personal ring announcer gig for Del Rio captivated the WWE Universe as they repeated with him 'Albertoooooooo DEL RIOOOO!' as the Mexican wrestler walked down the ramp to the ring. This would be a great way to put him over to the audience as a babyface.
In turn, this could actually boost WWE's ratings too, as a huge part of the Latino audience will be brought back to the programming to see one of their favorite wrestlers winning in the ring. After recent events on Raw, it also looks like the WWE could be pushing the Latino tag team of The Lucha Dragons, which could further help bring back Latino audiences.
Del Rio is predicted to go up against Colter's old client Jack Swagger at Survivor Series.
