With the north London derby on the horizon, Tottenham's Indonesian verified Twitter account took to social media this morning to troll rivals Arsenal after the Gunners endured a torrid Champions League evening.

Arsene Wenger's side succumbed to a disastrous 5-1 defeat at the hands of German giants Bayern Munich, leaving themselves with a mountain to climb in their pursuit of a place in the Round of 16.

But one-half of north London would have enjoyed Arsenal's European struggle as they took to Twitter to relay their thoughts.

The tweet has since been deleted, but we managed to grab a screenshot...

The Bundesliga champions, who were in formidable form against their European counterparts, responded to the Premier League side as their English account tweeted: @Spurs_ID You're welcome. 😉

Huge game

Of course, attention will now turn to this weekend's Premier League showdown between the rivals. On the domestic scene, both Tottenham and Arsenal have been in fine form, with the latter currently sitting on the same points as Premier League front-runners Manchester City.

In fact, Wenger's side have won their last five outings in England's elite division, but Spurs will be confident after their recent run.

Mauricio Pochettino's side have won five of their last seven Premier League games, remaining unbeaten in the process.

However, after the Gunners beat their rivals at White Hart Lane in the Capital One Cup earlier this season, they will be confident that they can bounce back after their dismal display against the Bavarians.

Will Spurs beat Arsenal on Sunday? Have your say below!
