Pep Guardiola: Arsenal fans need to stay calm after Bayern Munich loss

It would have been easy for Pep Guardiola to sit smugly as Arsenal made their way back to north London with their tails firmly between their legs, but the Spaniard sent a positive message to Gunners fans who are reeling from the 5-1 result in Munich. Guardiola said Arsenal supporters need to be calm, as they weren’t technically out of qualifying for the knockout stages yet. Of course, it’s easier said than done when Arsenal are sitting bottom of their group on three points, but it’s far from an impossible task given they’ve still got Olympiacos to play. Next up, Gunners fans were quick to blast Owen Hargreaves on Twitter for his commentary during the Bayern drubbing. Hargreaves, coincidentally a former Bayern man, made a number of comments that were taken as being biased by the Arsenal faithful. Here are a few of our favourite Twitter responses.
