Johnny Football will have the chance to silence critics of his ability when the Cleveland Browns face off against the unbeaten Cincinnati Bengals tonight - you can trust us when we say there are many. Twitter, somewhat unsurprisingly, exploded upon hearing the news that Manziel is to start for the Browns during tonight’s game, with a number of fans posting fairly comical tweets intended to play down the quarterback’s chances of success. Manziel may be only covering for the injured Josh McCown, but he’ll have to put in the performance of a lifetime if he’s to get the fans on board. Meanwhile, a strange situation is developing concerning the NBA, with Miami Heat guard Gerald Green having been admitted to hospital after an ambulance and the police were called to a home yesterday morning. Details of Green’s problem haven’t been disclosed, but a source said that he’d been restrained before being placed on a stretcher outside of his luxury condo.
