What was supposed to be the main event will now be replaced by a tournament to crown a new champion.

Losing a top star like Rollins is sure to have a big effect behind the scenes at WWE, but the latest rumours show just how disastrous it could be.

It was reported that the WWE creative team is working around the clock in order to re-write weeks worth of WWE programming.

Rollins has been a key figure on TV for several months now and his loss will be felt heavily throughout the roster.

Once wwe.com announced the injury to Rollins, it also quickly announced the news about the tournament to crown a new champion.

However it has also been rumoured that that plan may even be subject to change, as could possible competitors and the winner.

The question now becomes, without their top heel, who will the WWE turn to in their time of need?

A whole new show

Survivor Series has been building since Hell in a Cell and now all of a sudden, the show takes a very different twist.

While the excitement over a possible Brothers of Destruction reunion still lingers, the loss of a title match between former Shield brothers changes the buzz around the show.

Although Roman Reigns will still likely be involved in the tournament, fans have waited for over a year to see him get his hands on Rollins.
