The recent appearance on Monday Night RAW by WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin sent the WWE Universe into meltdown.
So many fans tweeted their delight at seeing one of the foundations of the attitude era in the ring again, but what actually happened left some fans a little disappointed.

The Texas Rattlesnake hadn't been seen on WWE TV for a while but was out there for several simple reasons on RAW.

Promoting his upcoming podcast with Brock Lesnar and also introducing the Undertaker who would deliver a pre- Hell in a Cell promo himself.
While it was great seeing Stone Cold in the ring again, it seemed like a very tame promo from one of the most controversial stars in the company's history.
Stone Cold himself has been talking about the appearance but hasn't exactly stressed a great level of excitement over it.
"So, you know, when you ain’t been on TV for four years and you’d really like to go out there and uncork a promo and just raise hell for my 6-10 minutes, it left a lot to be desired for my part, but it was doing a favor for WWE.” - Stone Cold on his appearance on RAW
He did what he promised and delivered a lot of sentiment to the crowd in Dallas and it really was great to see him live on RAW for the first time in over four years.
But perhaps some fans are hoping that the next time they get to see Stone Cold live, it will be in a more explosive fashion?
There have been strong rumours surrounding Stone Cold for several months now with WrestleMania 32 set to take place in his home state of Texas.
Austin himself has said that he wants to be involved in WrestleMania next year but everyone has a different theory on what role he will play.
Some thing he may be competing again while others think he may just be set to make an in ring appearance similar to his role at WrestleMania 30.
