The latest word around the rumor mill is that big names like John Cena will be brought in to help the WWE in their current dilemma, caused by Seth Rollins being out of action due to tearing his ACL, MCL, and a medial meniscus in his knee. But Jim Ross doesn't want that to happen at all.
Speaking on his blog, the WWE Hall of Famer reflected on the unfortunate situation the WWE are in due to Rollins tearing his ACL, MCL, and a medial meniscus in his knee during a WWE Live Event in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday night.
Recent rumors have suggested Cena could be brought back to help the WWE through this troublesome time, but Ross doesn't want to see this happen as he thinks other superstars on the roster should be given the spot in order to flourish.

He said: "Finally, the last thing that I would do is to put John Cena right back in the mix. John deserves some time off, and WWE deserves to put some of their other talents in line to grow and to become main eventers.
"This entire situation is one of fate and now it’s up to WWE to reshuffle the deck and hopefully come out of it with a winning hand where more than one talent is advanced."
In case you didn't know, Cena is currently taking time off and a well-deserved break from the WWE for personal reasons. He isn't going to be in the WWE forever, so it is about time the company starts to prepare more thoroughly for this eventuality.
Rollins' injury has opened the door now for even more superstars to be given a shot at the spot, and the Survivor Series tournament can even provide a window of opportunity for some.
Future main roster stars, like Finn Balor or Samoa Joe, should be given the opportunity and possibly even go far in this Survivor Series tournament, it will be good exposure for them to become familiar with members of the WWE Universe that haven't seen them before.
Avoiding reverting back to the old ways of Cena during this time in need will be the best thing the WWE can do. This situation can grow their roster up towards being more advanced and main event ready, providing better programming, and that in turn can only mean good things for the WWE and the WWE Universe in the future.
