Jurgen Klopp warns Liverpool ace Jordon Ibe that he must focus on improvement

Published 2 Comments

Jordon Ibe sparked scenes of delirious celebration from Jurgen Klopp when he scored the winner during Liverpool’s Europa League clash with Rubin Kazan, but the German coach has warned the youngster not to get ahead of himself. Klopp said after the match that Ibe still had plenty of learning to do if he wanted to fulfil his potential. The 19-year-old has already become a major fixture in Klopp’s squad, but, as Klopp will be only too happy to tell you, changes will be made if he’s not pulling his own weight. Fortunately for him, at the moment he’s doing more than that. Meanwhile, Klopp has explained why star performer Philippe Coutinho didn’t start last night’s match, and it was because he was contending with a minor problem. The Brazilian, and teammate Adam Lallana, were dropped to the bench but it had absolutely nothing to do with their form - merely that Klopp was playing it safe.
