The Anaheim Ducks started the 2015-2016 season really slowly, winning only two out of their past 11 games.
Ducks superstar's Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry were unable to score any goals through the entire spell.
Breaking the duck
Now, though, Corey Perry has finally scored - finding the net on November 4, during the game against the Florida Panthers.

The veteran sniper finished a beautifully worked play by tapping in the puck past the helpless Roberto Luongo with only 5.1 seconds left in regulation.
The 30-year-old winger tied the game up and finally scored his first goal this season, after being held scoreless in 11 games.
Anaheim went on to win the game in a shootout and improved their record to 3-7-2 after 12 games. Unfortunately, the Ducks are second last in the Pacific Division and they have a long journey ahead of them.
Scoring trouble
The Ducks' biggest issue this year is their inability to score. The Ducks have only scored 17 goals in 12 games this season.
Meanwhile, Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin of the Dallas Stars have 18 goals together - one more goal than the entire Anaheim team.
Luckily, Anaheim has a solid goalie in net who has been keeping the Ducks in most of their games. Frederick Andersen has a .934 save percentage and a 2.03 GAA, which is a very impressive record for a goalie who plays for the fourth-worst team in the league.
Furthermore, Corry Perry has finally found his scoring touch. This means that the Ducks can expect more goals to come from their biggest offensive contributor in the near future.
Perry scored 43 goals two seasons ago and scored another 33 goals in 67 games last season. Perry is known to be a streaky scorer. The talented forward can have a slump for a few games, but he can easily come back and put together a great scoring streak.
Hopefully, Anaheim can dig themselves out of the hole they are in right now.
The Ducks will play the Columbus Blue Jackets on November 6.
