Sheamus should stun the WWE Universe by cashing in on no-one to become Champion

Seth Rollins tearing multiple ligaments in his knee has sent shock-waves throughout the entire WWE Universe.

The former World Heavyweight Champion was forced to vacate his Championship following the reveal that he would miss the next six-to-nine months, with a tournament booked for Survivor Series to crown a new WWE Champion.

However, while that is all well and good, we are forgetting about one crucial man; Money in the Bank holder, Sheamus. And the Celtic Warrior has the chance to stun WWE fans on Monday Night Raw.

Shock Cash-In?

Surely, now would be the absolutely perfect time for the Irishman to just walk down the ring on RAW, hand his briefcase to a referee, and just become the new WWE Champion, simple as that?

Honestly, what is stopping him from cashing in on the ghost of Seth Rollins and the current Champion, "Vacant"? Make him part of The Authority and have Triple H and Stephanie sanction the cash-in.

Ultimate Heel Move

This is the WWE, stupid stuff happens all the time, and the prospect of Sheamus slowly walking down the ramp - his face full of glee and smugness - and winning the title without having to actually do anything would infuriate WWE fans so much. It would be Heel Heaven.

Nobody has liked Sheamus being the Money in the Bank winner and it seems that everyone is hoping that he fails when he decides to cash in. Well, maybe that goes out of the window and the Celt does something memorable and that would get fans hating him.

The WWE will have been scrambling for options and future storylines ever since Rollins got injured, maybe making Sheamus a new member of The Authority and having him win the title will be just that.
