Kobe Bryant admits he wants to play for Team USA at 2016 Olympics

It’s fairly rare that a global sports superstar backtracks on his word, so take note if you’re at all interested in the NBA. LA Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant has hinted that he would like to be included in the USA’s squad for the 2016 Olympics in Rio, despite the fact he’s said in the past that he had no interest in participating. Maybe Bryant’s recent battle with the inevitable toll of his advancing age is speaking up from inside of him - regardless, it would certainly make fans happy if he was there. Across to the NFL, and Wes Welker has signed a one-year contract with the St. Louis Rams. According to Media Insider Ian Rapoport, the former Patriots wideout put pen to paper on a deal allowing up to $700,000 in incentives based on playing time and catches. We’ll see how successful that move turns out to be.
