Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly put Schalke youngster Leroy Sane on his transfer wishlist.
As reported by The Sun, the new Reds chief has an interest in the attacking midfielder, who has come to prominence in the Bundesliga recently.
In fact, Sane, who is still only 19-years-old, has scored five goals in 15 Bundesliga games this term. The technically gifted ace is recognised as one of the leading young players in Germany, so it's far from certain as to whether Schalke would be willing to entertain any potential offers from Liverpool.

At 19, Sane still has a great deal to learn, but would no doubt prove quite the coup for the Reds boss in his long-term pursuit of success at Anfield.
Klopp already has a number of fine attacking players at his disposal, with the trio of Adam Lallana, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino all plying their trade on Merseyside.
The latter, of course, only moved to Liverpool from the Bundesliga in the summer transfer window, leaving 1899 Hoffenheim behind in the process. After a difficult opening couple of months to his career on English soil, Firmino has started to prove his credentials under the new regime, but he's by no means the finished article.
Lallana, on the other hand, has failed to really shine on a consistent basis for the club since his move from Southampton in the summer of 2014 while the Reds faithful will be hoping Brazilian playmaker Coutinho can give even more to the cause in the coming months.
Coutinho, who was the club's standout player last season, has made a steady start to the campaign, scoring four goals in 11 league games. But the midfielder has the credentials to become the club's talisman, so he should be looking to improve on those statistics.
