Casual wrestling fans all over the world will know a number of NXT superstars whether they’re stars the company has created or stars taken from the independent scene.

It doesn’t matter how the WWE did it, but they’ve lured some of the biggest names on to NXT ranging from Prince Devitt, KENTA, El Generico and Kevin Steen who have all gone on to achieve great things.

However, these are stars fans already knew of as they’ve seen a lot of them. With most of them moving on to bigger and better things NXT will definitely look to create newer stars for the future who can continue that same level of success.

We’ve all heard of Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, as well as Apollo Crews and Tyler Breeze – but here are the future stars of NXT you should keep an eye out in the coming year or so.

Jason Jordan and Chad Gable are probably the most well-known names on this list as they’ve really impressed in the last few months.

They broke out as a strong team with incredible chemistry together during the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, which was ultimately won by Samoa Joe and Finn Balor. Even though they didn’t win the tournament they still managed to leave the tournament as one of the biggest positives from it all.

They have a classic look for a tag team with matching singlets and it really helps them look like successful amateur wrestlers.

Most of all it’s the chemistry and genuine ability to put on incredible matches inside of the ring that sets them apart from any tag team in the WWE and it won’t be a surprise to see them not only spearhead the NXT tag team division in the coming year but go on to have a highly successful main roster career as well.

There’s definitely a lot of talent and potential in this team.

Dylan Miley is someone whom the officials are extremely high on and rightfully so, as they have bagged someone who looks like a monster and could be a huge success if they utilise his size and strength correctly.

A quick Google image search will show you what you need to see and make your decision on what he could be capable of. As a former bodybuilder, it’s clear the WWE will look to use that to their advantage and his hands seem to be a big selling points here.

The likes of Kevin Owens and Sasha Banks have raved about Miley on social media and rightfully so, he has age on his side, he looks good and he’s a project they can really take their time on and help make a success.

A lot of UK fans, as well as NXT fans who regularly go to house shows, will know Hugo Knox is, and it’s definitely a name fans will be chanting on NXT in the near future.

The first thing fans will notice about Knox is his size and how much of a good look he has to succeed and we know that’s something the WWE officials love. He hasn’t appeared on television yet so it would be unfair to judge his skills in the ring and on the microphone right now, but based on ramblings over the past year he seems to be impressing a lot.

The former Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper is said to be very agile for his size and is making great strides in the ring also which is fantastic to hear, especially since it’s another British star making a name for himself in the States.

He seems to be very confident also which is key, pulling out with dance moves during and after his matches and has a really solid overall look to succeed. He can definitely be a top face or even a heel on NXT depending on where his strengths lie.

Riddick Moss will tell you himself that he’s the future of NXT and chances are he won’t be lying, Moss looks to be a unique superstar in the making.

Like others, he too has a unique look which is something officials will be impressed by and the good thing for him is he looks like a genuine heel who can get the fans reacting from the minute his music hits.

It’s a bold statement to make but if he does continue developing in the coming year and can get on television then he has all of the ability in the world to be the top heel on NXT.

NXT could be in a very good place in the coming year if these stars continue to develop. If they do then it won’t be a huge surprise to one day see the likes of Knox and Moss carrying NXT with the championship involved.
