Sanchez plan

If there’s one thing that’s going to be absolutely crucial to Arsenal’s bid to win the Premier League title this season, it’s keeping Alexis Sanchez fit.

Here's a little taster as to why:

It seems that’s a notion Arsene Wenger is all too aware of, as he’s ready to give the forward a mid-season break amongst fears that he could suffer a burnout, according to the Daily Mirror.

Some will call it giving him time to ‘recharge his batteries’ but in any case Wenger’s going to be removing Sanchez from contention at some point during the next few weeks.

A smart idea, unless of course Arsenal lose games because of it.

Welbeck on Arsenal move

Elsewhere, Danny Welbeck has spoken over his move from Manchester United to north London and explained it was exciting because it was a new challenge.

Welbeck said he missed his family but inferred the transfer wasn’t all that difficult. It was probably made easier, of course, by the fact that he was set to struggle to get into Louis van Gaal’s United side.

Welbeck's transfer has always divided fans:

Roma want Szczesny stay

Lastly, AS Roma are keen for Wojciech Szczesny to stay with them beyond the current season, despite the fact the Pole has insisted he would welcome a return to Arsenal.

Roma’s sporting director, Walter Sabatini, told how the club is working on ensuring Szczesny can continue his work at the Stadio Olimpico.

He did say, however, coming to an agreement with the Gunners would be difficult.
