Victor Valdes' Manchester United career continues to go from bad to worse and the Spaniard must be counting down the days until the January transfer window.

Not only does the former Barcelona stopper train at different times to the first team, he was not given a squad number for the season and was left out of the team photo.

Now, to rub salt into the wounds, Louis van Gaal has threatened to fine the goalkeeper if he arrives at the Red Devils' Carrington training base before the first-team have left, according to

Despite having kept his head down and gave his all in training, it is unequivocally clear he has no future at Manchester United.

This latest move by the Dutch boss means Valdes' only interaction with his teammates will come away from the club.

Of course, Van Gaal was well within his rights to discipline the goalkeeper if he did refuse to play for United's youth team. But it has got to the point where the manager is just appearing to be stubborn.

On the face on things, it seems Valdes has worked hard to try and give himself a lifeline at Old Trafford. However, we don't know what goes on behind the scenes.

The three-time Champions League winning keeper has been linked with a move to a number of clubs during the January transfer window and it seems to be only a matter of time before his United nightmare comes to an end.
