Football News

Manchester United fans, hello and welcome.

It’s the end of the working week, which usually means that at least half of your brain has shut itself down in preparation for the weekend.

We implore you to open up as much of it as possible to ingest the major news from today. Watch the video above for the major headlines and read on below for more.

Ronaldo move possible?

Where will Cristiano Ronaldo finish his career? That’s a question plenty of people are ready to speculate on, but only a handful of people have any proper idea about.

Well, if you believe The Sun, destination terminus will be Manchester United.

Not the most ridiculous idea they’ve ever had, with it said that the Red Devils are confident of reclaiming the man they turned into a superstar.

This comes on the back of reports suggesting Chelsea are in the early stages of planning to launch an incredible bid.

Here's a reminder of what you lot are missing:

Robben's advice to Depay

Elsewhere, Memphis Depay might be struggling, but he’ll be offered advice by Bayern Munich superstar Arjen Robben if he wants it.

Robben, who has experience in England from his time with Chelsea, said he would help, but that Depay has to show strength and the right mentality.

Fans certainly seem willing to give Depay time to improve, in any case:

Rooney's PFA Player of the Year vote

Last but not least, it’s been revealed that Wayne Rooney voted for Blues star Diego Costa to win the PFA Player of the Year award last season.

Costa bagged 20 league goals during his debut campaign in English football, with Rooney admitting he was so impressed by the impact the ex-Atletico Madrid man had that he gave him his vote.

Let’s be honest, it’s not like he was going to hand it to anyone from United.

Fancy watching Costa's goals from last term? Look no further:
